Wheatbelt Vet Services Jurien Bay
READY FOR A SEACHANGE? Come join us in beautiful Jurien Bay where out of work life is just as important as work life! Are you looking to move to a town with a country feel and laidback attitude, right on the Turquoise Coast which has some of WA’s most beautiful beaches?
All the staff at Wheatbelt Vet Services love living in Jurien Bay and because of that we make sure we enjoy a very healthy work life balance. Our team is very close-knit and enjoy socialising together on weekends, the odd sunset drink after work or pack walks with our dogs on an empty beach in the mornings. Jurien Bay is a great town with all the facilities you need plus LOTS of activities – a range of sporting clubs, lots of places to eat and drink, hiking trails, islands with deserted beaches just a short boat ride away and many job opportunities if you’re bringing a partner along.
Wheatbelt Vet Services is Seeking either a New Graduate, Recent Graduate or Experienced Vet to fill a position in our ever-expanding practice in Jurien Bay. Wheatbelt Vet Services is a family run country Mixed-practice (but don’t worry mixed animal experience is not required) that now has 3 clinics in the Wheatbelt, with a total of 4 vets employed. We are 90% Small Animal, 10% Equine, Bovine & Ovine with the odd Wildlife case thrown in the mix. Overseas sponsorship also considered.
We have the most AMAZING clients. Only two years ago Jurien Bay had limited Veterinary services, so everyone is very appreciative and has huge respect for their Vet, which is so refreshing. We also don’t take kindly to clients being rude to our staff – quality veterinary care is a privilege so we ensure that our staff are treated with respect and always supported. Our focus is providing reasonably priced, compassionate and high standard veterinary care to our patients. We are very flexible with any applicants who apply and can adjust the role to suit you – part time or full time, after hours or none – we will make it work for the right applicant.
We are really looking for a Vet that enjoys working in a team and is personable – the rest of the skills needed can be taught over time. We feel that being a vet is the most amazing and rewarding job but we know that it definitely isn’t easy. Due to this we want to offer support and a healthy work environment to our staff, so they can continue to remain passionate about the veterinary industry and love coming to work each day. Pay is above the award and based on experienced and pays are reviewed 6-12 monthly. Continuing education is also very important so it will be included in the employment package, as well as free access to a private Pathologist and VIN.
We also have most the gadgets you require in a country practice: Abaxis In-house blood machines, IM3 Dental Machine, Digital X-ray and Ultrasound. If you want to have a chat, give Hannah a call or text on 0428 962677 or email your CV firstname.lastname@example.org Attn: Dr Hannah Morcombe Jurien Bay.
