 This full‑time position ensures the Turquoise Coast Visitor Centre operates smoothly and
provides a welcoming, professional environment for visitors. The role delivers accurate tourism information, maintains displays and retail stock, and manages booking and point‑of‑sale systems. It also supports the centre’s online presence through website and social media updates. Reporting to the Manager Customer and Community Services, the position assists with local tourism promotion and strengthens community and business connections.

 We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Machinery Operators to join our expanding agricultural operations at Hill River Farm and Koojan Downs and New Norcia Farms.

These hands-on roles are responsible for the safe and efficient daily operation of loaders, trucks, telehandlers, light vehicles and other machinery across broadacre farming activities, including feeding hay and pellets to cattle, small earthmoving works, general farm duties and site maintenance.

 

Essential:

  • Previous experience with machinery including using a loader and skid steer loader with a focus on safety.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good mechanical knowledge.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated and hard-working, willing to be part of the small team.
  • Content working independently.
  • Candidates will be required to Pass a National Police Clearance and pre- employment medical assessment. The role will require a suitable level of fitness to carry out the duties.

This role will see you operating the watercart in a civil construction project, precision and care is essential, experience is essential.

Rates:

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate couple or individual with a passion for cattle and wanting to grow their skills in intensive livestock production, and live export operations.

General Duties will include (not limited to)

Feeding and General Farm Role:

  • Daily livestock checks, including recording daily check sheets and identifying any health issues.
  • Feeding cattle in the feedlot and on farm, checking waters, cleaning troughs and general farm maintenance and jobs.
  • Protocoling livestock, unloading & loading cattle, vaccinating, drafting and all general livestock handling applicable to a feedlot and export depot.
  • Operating machinery, fixing broken infrastructure in a timely manner (fences, gates, rails)

Admin Role:

  • Reconciliation of livestock movements weekly, sending a movement report to the executive team.
  • Providing livestock with treatments, vaccinations, protocols, drafting cattle, loading and unloading.
  • Recording of livestock treatments, NLIS transfers, inductions, protocols and other records pertaining to compliance requirements for LPA, NFAS and quarantine.
  • Keeping the livestock records up to date.
  • Ensuring documentation is filed correctly, including both paper and electronic documents.
  • Upkeep of the herd database, with an aim of continuously improving the integrity of the data.
