Personal Care Worker

Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients in their home, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices. We have casual roles available, enabling you to find a schedule that works for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Personal care such as meal preparation, medication assistance and some domestic work 
  • Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home)  
  • Engaging in social activities

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent

  • Police Check (valid within the last 3 years) 
  • Up-to-date Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Own vehicle/licence  
  • Evidence of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations 
  • Experience in care role highly regarded

Marine Tour Guide

Jurien Bay Oceanic Experience is an interactive marine tourism business and certified PADI Dive Centre with over 40 years of expertise navigating the magical, turquoise waters of Jurien Bay.

We are a proud, local family business, devoted to the care of our oceans and the protection of the Australian Sea Lion. We go the extra mile to ensure our guests are comfortable, safe and exhilarated by nature.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Marine Tour Guide

Permanent full-time position (or seasonal), with above award pay rates. 

Role:

  • Sea Lion Interaction Tour Guide (Water Based)
  • Deckhand
  • Dive Centre Attendent

Essential Requirements:

  • Marine tourism experience
  • Background in diving; PADI Dive Master or Instructor qualification.
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
  • Ability to withstand full days at sea in all conditions
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work solo and as a team
  • Must have own transport
  • Neat and tidy appearance, good personal hygiene
  • Enthusiastic and friendly - with a passion for the ocean and marine conservation
  • Knot and rope work knowledge

Preferred:

  • Further marine and boating qualifications and experience
  • Marine life knowledge, biology degree
  • Senior First Aid

This position will include weekend work and early morning starts. Pay rate will be based on qualification and experience, and will be discussed with potential candidates.

For the right person, further studies could be offered as well as the opportunity to progress in the marine industry.

Lawn Mowing Operator and Gardener

Casual Position - 20hrs plus per week

Who we are:

We are a family owned business working in the community since 2004. Our goal was to create a company that truly understood and met the lawn mowing needs of our clients. We care and have attention to detail. 


What we do:

We offer a range of services from mowing lawns for people who live in the Bay, holiday home lawns and commercial open space shared by the community. Also gardening, spraying, one-off and regular services. 


We are seeking a new team member with the following qualifications:

  • Experience using powered equipment, Blowers, Trimmers and Saws.
  • Previous experience operating a ride on lawn mower.
  • Experience with Garden maintenance 
  • Knowledge of plants, horticulture and landscaping desirable
  • A strong work ethic, with attention to detail. Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions. 
  • A valid driver's license
  • A current Police Clearance.
