Applications are invited for the position of Customer Service Officer with the Shire
of Coorow. The position will be based in our Leeman office on a casual basis (24 hours per week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8am to 4.30pm).
You will be the initial point of contact for the community, serving as the first face or voice in accordance with the Shire’s Customer Service Charter. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for responding to customer enquiries and providing Driver and Vehicle Licensing services, tourism, and general administration duties.
The person we are seeking will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate and be able to demonstrate their ability to perform effectively as part of a small team.
This position is offered under the Local Government Officers (WA) Award 2020 as
a level 4 at $29.8870 per hour plus casual loading of 25%. In addition, the Shire of Coorow offers generous Superannuation benefits. Applicants must hold and maintain a current WA C Class driver’s license. A pre-placement medical and police clearance will be required by the successful applicant before commencement and a three-month probationary period will apply.
