You’ll be the welcoming face of our centre - greeting customers, answering phones, helping with enquiries, and supporting clients with basic tech issues (mobile phones, tablets, laptops, SIM activation, emails, etc).

You’ll also help with admin tasks, operate office equipment, manage rosters, and assist with basic library duties.

COLLECTOR | WESTERN DIAGNOSTIC PATHOLOGY

As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will be collecting blood & coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your empathy and drive to deliver great customer service and quality healthcare.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
  • Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
  • Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Liaising with a range of different people including customers, clinic staff and couriers

What Type of Person Will Be Successful

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector, or will have gained a Cert III and looking to embark on your Pathology Collection career! You could also be a Registered Nurse looking to swap the weekend & overnight work for regular daytime shifts.

Join the Shire of Dandaragan as an Accountant and play a key role in managing and overseeing our financial operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the financial health and sustainability of our community.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will ensure compliance with the Local Government Act 1995 and Australian Accounting Standards, maintain accurate financial records, and provide strategic financial advice to support decision-making. This permanent full-time position is based at our Administration Centre in Jurien Bay and offers the chance to work collaboratively within the Corporate Services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial reports and budgets in line with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and review financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Manage investments, loans, reserve funds, and asset registers.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external agencies including the Office of the Auditor General.
  • Supervise finance staff and oversee payroll, rates, creditors, and debtors functions.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation regulations including GST and FBT.

About the Role

As Senior Finance Officer, you will provide high-level accounting support across financial, management, systems, and asset accounting functions. You will assist with monthly reporting, reconciliations, BAS and FBT returns, and ensure compliance with legislation and Council policies. The role also involves supporting budget preparation and audits while liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and administrative experience, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will prepare monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations, maintain and update the asset register, and assist with BAS and FBT reporting. You will support the development of budgets, contribute to audits, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will liaise with creditors, debtors, and internal departments, while providing assistance across finance functions during periods of leave.

Would suit someone living in the Jurien Bay, Dandaragan and Moora areas, however Muchea, Bullsbrook and northern Perth are also negotiable for the right applicant with truck parking available in Muchea each night.


The successful applicant will have:

· Minimum 2 years' MC experience

· High attention to detail regarding paperwork and daily sheets

· Competent communication skills

· A can-do, problem solver and proactive attitude

· A thorough understanding of fatigue management

· Good organisational skills and cleanliness

  • Experience operating agricultural machinery to conduct spraying, seeding and harvest (essential)
  • Machinery service and repairs experience
