The Jurien Bay CRC has formed a Turquoise Coast Women in Business Group, with membership open to all women who own, manage or work in a business in the Turquoise Coast region.
The groups aims are as follows:
We meet once a month for various activities, at different times and locations. If you are interested in joining the group or would like to receive information about future events, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with WIB in the subject line.
The Jurien Bay CRC provides high quality printed products at great rates. Our pricing is comparable with Vistaprint and Office Works. We print business cards, DL flyers, trifold brochures, posters and so much more. Try us today. We offer printing services to Jurien Bay, Cervantes and surrounding areas. We also print the local Jurien Bay newspaper, Craytales.
As a Centrelink Agency we can assist you to initiate and complete all claims. We have a free public-access phone and computer dedicated for Centrelink and Medicare use. Our staff are experienced and can assist you with all of your enquiries.
Need to set up a new phone? iPad or tablet still a mystery? Always wanted to shop online? This is only the start of what our staff can show you. Computer sessions are only $10 per hour for a one on one session. Make a list of what you would like to know and book your session today.
Did you know you can drop off any electronic waste for recycling at the Jurien Bay CRC? We collect mobile phones, batteries, computers, monitors, printer cartridges and pretty much any other electronic goods. When we have a sufficient volume of e-waste it is sent to a recycling facility, keeping it out of landfill. There is a cost to us in transporting the e-waste to a recycling facility so we will ask for a gold coin donation when you drop off your items, to offset this cost.
In addition to e-waste, we are a collection point for printer cartridges and Nespresso coffee pods. Bring your pods or cartridges in to us and we will make sure that they are recycled, recovering valuable resources.
Jurien Bay's local paper has been running for over 40 years. Every fortnight 600 copies are printed and distributed in Jurien Bay, Cervantes and Green Head. Head over to the Craytales web page for more information - www.craytales.net.au - or to read recent issues.
Did you know that Jurien Bay has a Community Garden? Located on the site of the Jurien Bay District High School, Community Garden Members grow a range of fruits, herbs and vegetables and share in the produce. Some plants are grown for the school's home economics department to use, and excess produce is brought to Crop Swap on Friday mornings at the CRC. Membership of the Community Garden is just $1 per year - contact the CRC for more information.
Please enjoy our ongoing Oral History Project. We hope to capture the personal stories that shaped our town.
